Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 September 2026

This policy applies to SmartPDFs at https://smartpdfs.online (“we”, “us”). It explains what we collect when you use our free PDF tools and how that information is handled.

1. Files you upload

Documents you send to a tool are used only to complete the action you chose (merge, convert, compress, protect, and similar tasks). We do not sell your files. Do not upload documents you are not allowed to process.

2. Technical data

Like most websites, we may log IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and timestamps so we can keep the service stable and debug errors.

3. Contact and newsletter

If you write to help@smartpdfs.online or join the mailing list, we keep the details you send only to reply or share product updates you asked for.

4. Cookies and advertising

We use essential cookies to run the site. If Google AdSense is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar IDs to show ads, cap frequency, and measure performance. Read Google’s advertising policy and manage ads at Google Ads Settings.

We do not ask anyone to click ads. Ads are labeled “Advertisement” and are separate from our tools.

5. Third parties

Analytics, email delivery, or hosting providers may process limited technical data as needed to operate SmartPDFs.

6. Retention

Processed files are not kept as a personal archive. Logs are stored only as long as needed for security and operations.

7. Your choices

You can stop using the site at any time. For a data request related to a message you sent us, email help@smartpdfs.online.

8. Children

The service is intended for general productivity use by adults. It is not directed at children under 13.

9. Changes

We may update this page when features or laws change. The date above shows the latest revision.
